DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD REALIZADA

Cerámica Cárcamo es una empresa familiar sevillana fundada en 1980. Partiendo de las técnicas de la cerámica tradicional, investigan nuevos diseños, colores, líneas y productos que se adaptan a los deseos de sus clientes, entre los que se cuentan numerosos particulares, constructores, decoradores, hoteles, restauradores, casas rurales, etc.Sus productos son decorados con técnicas tradicionales. Realizados con barros y esmaltes de gran calidad, son cocidos a 980º en hornos eléctricos, pudiendo ser utilizados tanto en interiores como exteriores.Utilizan de manera general dos técnicas decorativas: la cuerda seca y el pintado. La cuerda seca
consiste en separar los esmaltes, previamente coloreados, mediante una línea negra compuesta de grasa y óxido negro. Estos colores se aplican con perillas de distintos tamaños. Una vez esmaltado, se puede pintar sobre dichos esmaltes para conseguir más realismo. En el pintado las piezas de barro blanco o rojo se bañan con esmalte. Una vez seco éste, se pintará como un lienzo. No admite rectificación. Para que la pincelada sea más precisa se utilizan estarcidos con las líneas guía para el perfilado.Tras una exigente selección son preparados, numerados, fotografiados y embalados. Una vez en obra, se colocan directamente sobre la pared desprovista de pintura.

Maestro autodidacta con formación específica en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Sevilla.

DOCENCIA

Ha acogido a alumnos en prácticas de empresa provenientes de escuelas como la Escuela de Artesanos de Gerves de Sevilla, la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas, Oficios Artísticos y Bellas Artes de Sevilla, y de una escuela francesa.
