Aprendió el oficio con Donald Gray, quien le transmitió sus conocimientos trabajando juntos en algunas obras. Después ha estado muchos años aprendiendo de forma autodidacta. Ha hecho cursos de estucos y de tadelakt en el IAPH (Cartuja) de Sevilla.
