DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD REALIZADA

Aitor Rico se forma en estudios de estereotomía de la piedra, trabajos escultóricos en piedra y cantería artística y de aplicación arquitectónica, así como en el manejo de herramienta y en metodología específica, como el martillo neumático, para la labra de piedra, y para el trazado y labra de arcos, bóvedas, realización de escaleras (caracol mallorquina…), talla por puntos, labrado de relieves, enlosados de cantería, y técnicas diversas de corte de la piedra.Entre sus actividades y habilidades figuran las siguientes: rehabilitación y construcción en casas rurales, trabajos de carpintería en Patrimonio, cubiertas de madera (lijado, tratamiento de madera y puesta), rehabilitación, saneado e impermeabilización de cubiertas, trabajos de albañilería con técnicas, materiales y metodologías tradicionales, incluyendo mamposterías con mortero de cal, así como construcción con piedra seca, o haciendo uso del barro. También realizan tejados tradicionales de losa (con la piedra local de Huesca, utilizada allí en la arquitectura tradicional) y pavimentos y suelos de piedra. Desarrollan igualmente trabajos de labra en construcción (como el labrado de piedras para esquineras), trabajando la estereotomía de la piedra, elementos escultóricos en piedra, cantería artística y de aplicación arquitectónica, trazado y labra de arcos y bóvedas, realización de escaleras, talla por puntos, labrado de relieves, etc, dominando diversas técnicas de corte y trabajo de la piedra.

APRENDIZAJE

Aitor Rico Liria es cantero. Su formación profesional comienza en el ámbito de la construcción, donde, tras varios años trabajando en la construcción industrial, dirige su actividad hacia la construcción tradicional, de la mano de la empresa Mallata y bajo la dirección de Jesús García Mainar. Su formación de cantero la recibe en el Centro de Oficios de León, donde, de la mano de Pedro García Primo, realiza un curso superior de cantería. Posteriormente, comienza a trabajar en la construcción tradicional, con algunos paréntesis para la realización de cursos:
● Curso de “ técnicas de escultura en piedra” en Deva durante 5 meses en el año 2014
● Curso sobre el uso de la piedra y la cal en rehabilitación y obra nueva en Barbastro (Huesca)
● Curso de empedrado de suelos en Aulas (Lérida)
● Curso de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para trabajos de albañilería.

Entre sus trabajos, cabe destacar los siguientes:
– Iglesia románica de Lárrede.
– Iglesia románica de Allué.
– Iglesia de arquitectura popular de Espín.
– Lavadero de Satué.
– Pozo nevero de Yebra de Basa.
– Horno de pez en Yesero.
– Casas particulares en diversos pueblos de la zona de Serrablo, perteneciente al Alto Gállego, Huesca.
– Muro de mampostería de piedra seca en la entrada a la quesería Oxhortical de Villanúa.
– Jardineras y bancos de mampostería en la terraza del Bar Sansanet (Jaca, Huesca)
– Labra de dos escudos heráldicos en piedra caliza (crema de Castilla), de 85x80x10 cm.– Realización diversos trabajos en Saumedes (Orense), que incluyen empedrados de suelos de granito, restauración de muros de casas de granito, suelos de baldosa de arcilla cocida, y revocos de barro y paja en interiores y exteriores.
