Antonio Jesús Morillo López

APRENDIZAJE

Comienza a aprender el oficio en año 1997, cuando empieza a ayudar a su maestro y mentor Julio Morillo López, su padre, siguiendo el sistema tradicional de formación y aprendizaje bajo su tutela en un pequeño taller de Sevilla. Actualmente su taller se ubica en el Parque de Arte Sacro de Sevilla.Además de esta formación en el taller, posee los títulos de los cursos de Ebanistería y Talla en Piedra en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios Artísticos de Sevilla. Obtuvo la carta de artesano de tallista en madera, expedida por la Junta de Andalucía.
TRABAJOS DESTACADOS
Restauración puertas, artesonados, sobrepuertas del Palacio de los Villapanes (Sevilla), hoy convertido en hotel; mobiliario del Hotel Inglaterra (Sevilla); ampliación de mobiliario de Hotel Alfonso XIII (Sevilla); Restauración de un artesonado en la Plaza de España (Sevilla); Restauración del edificio histórico (talla y carpintería) Antiguo Ciudad de Londres (Sevilla); retablo de Santa Escolástica (Cáceres). Estos trabajos se han llevado a cabo en colaboración con la empresa Cofrasa S.L obras y servicios.
