DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD REALIZADA

Dcal es una empresa que se dedica a la elaboración de materiales para la construcción a base de cal aérea, todos ellos con un proceso industrial, pero de un modo 100% natural, sin aditivos ni químicos.El proceso de fabricación es moderno, con un equipo de químicos que lo avalan, siempre respetando un modelo muy tradicional, basado en cal de altísima pureza, agua natural de pozo, arena caliza de la propia cantera y meses de reposo. Se trata de la forma más simple de seguir produciendo hoy los productos más antiguos. El resultado son productos de excelente calidad, duraderos, que no requieren mantenimiento y muy simples de utilizar.Todos los productos de Dcal están hechos a base de cal aérea procedente de la cantera de la Puebla de Albortón, de alta pureza. Este tipo de cal contiene más del 95% de pureza.Extraen y fabrican cal aérea, en los siguientes tipos y formatos: óxido (cal viva), hidróxido (cal apagada), cal en pasta (cal envejecida un mínimo de 6 meses) y morteros con varias granulometrías y colores a base de cal en pasta, agua de cal y pinturas.

APRENDIZAJE

Los trabajadores de esta empres tienen titulación en ingenierías, química, biología y empresariales, entre otras.El conocimiento de los procesos de la extracción y la cocción de la cal se ha producido de forma generacional. Se trata de una empresa familiar donde el conocimiento ha pasado de generación en generación.Para formarse en el envejecimiento de la cal en pasta han recurrido al asesoramiento y visita a las mejores plantas de «grassello di calce» en el norte de Italia, así como a maquinaria y aprendizaje italianos.En cuanto a las dosificaciones, aplicación y conocimiento respecto a los usos, estucos, esgrafiados, estucos al fuego, imitación de piedra… han sido adquiridos en HomoFaber de la Mano de Paco Azconegui y Mónica Martín. Han realizado además varios cursos de perfeccionamiento realizados en diversos lugares de España.

DOCENCIA

Imparten los cursos específicos de cal en el Máster de Bioconstrucción IEB Baubiologuie, y en el Máster de la Universidad de Gerona, además de algunos cursos de formación en colegios de arquitectos y aparejadores.
