DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD REALIZADA

Francisco Nevado Durán realiza vidrieras emplomadas, religiosas y civiles, siguiendo un proceso que se caracteriza por los siguientes pasos:-Realización de un boceto a escala para su presentación al cliente.-Dibujo a tamaño real una vez aprobado el boceto.
-Corte de todos los vidrios según formas y colores.
-Emplomado de dichos vidrios.
-Soldado de la vidriera con estaño por ambas caras.
-Enmasillado de la vidriera por la cara exterior para darle más consistencia.
-Colocación de la vidriera en su lugar correspondiente.Si la vidriera fuese pintada (motivos religiosos, escudos heráldicos, etc.), una vez cortados los vidrios que fueran pintados, se procedería primero al fileteado y, posteriormente, las veladuras o sombras correspondientes hasta conseguir el acabado deseado. Cada paso de la pintura debe ir cocido entre 600 o 620 grados, que es el punto de cocción del vidrio. Para la pintura se usan las grisallas o esmaltes, que son óxidos metálicos que, mediante el calor, se fijan al vidrio. Si es restauración, el proceso es más meticuloso, ya que debes trabajar sobre lo ya existente, intentando siempre mantener al máximo los materiales originales.Técnicas: Pintura sobre el vidrio con colores vitrificables en horno.
