Rafael Castaño Gómez – Cefoarte

APRENDIZAJE

Hijo de ceramista, Rafael Castaño Gómez empezó como aprendiz a los 16 años en la Calle Alfarería, en el barrio sevillano de Triana. Desde entonces ha continuado aprendiendo las técnicas tradicionales de la cerámica en prestigiosos talleres de la capital hispalense hasta la fundación de su propia firma. Con Cefoarte distribuye cerámica artesana por todo el mundo.
TRABAJOS DESTACADOS
– Restauración y rehabilitación de los remates y losas goteras del Palacio de las Dueñas de los Duques de Alba (Sevilla).
– Restauración y rehabilitación de los remates del edificio regionalista Rivas Meguerry, del arquitecto Juan Talavera y Heredia (Sevilla)
– Restauración y rehabilitación de toda la balaustrada de la ría y de los remates volumétricos vidriados de varias zonas de la Plaza España (Sevilla)
– Fabricación de un mural de 12×4 m para la zapata del Guadalquivir (Sevilla).
– Restauración y rehabilitación de las escuadras esmaltadas de los bancos y jardineras en los Jardines de Murillo (Sevilla)
– Restauración y rehabilitación de una fuente de Mensaque Rodríguez del año 1920 para las bodegas de vinos Pedro Domecq (Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz).
– Restauración y réplicas de ménsulas para un edificio barroco de La Rambla (Barcelona)
– Restauración y rehabilitación de remates y azulejos vidriados para el Alcázar de Sevilla.
– Restauración y rehabilitación de los remates volumétricos vidriados del Pabellón Real de Sevilla, en la Plaza de América del Parque María Luisa (Sevilla).
– Restauración y rehabilitación de los azulejos de una fuente, bancos y jardineras en la Plaza 25 de Julio de Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
– Restauración y rehabilitación de balaustradas y remates volumétricos de varios puntos y galería de la Plaza de España (Sevilla).
– Restauración de ladrillos modelados en la fachada de la Casa-Palacio Alpériz de Dos Hermanas (Sevilla).
