Taller de Forja Juanto – Pedro Mancho

APRENDIZAJE

La Casa fue fundada en 1829, siguiendo fielmente la tradición artística y técnica de antaño. Fue recogida por Jesús Juanto y transmitida en los últimos años, hasta su jubilación, a su yerno Pedro Mancho, quien desde entonces se hace cargo del taller. Actualmente, la continuidad del oficio se mantiene, al trabajar junto con su hijo Jon Mancho Juanto, siendo con ello la 6ª generación desde su fundación. Han sabido conferir al arte de la forja un gran prestigio y reconocimiento, manteniendo vivo este oficio tradicional en la localidad de Sangüesa.
TRABAJOS DESTACADOS
Restauraciones realizadas por encargo de ayuntamientos y otras instituciones, así como de clientes particulares. Se encuentran repartidas por numerosos edificios en Navarra, País Vasco, Aragón, etc,. entre los que destacan la Catedral de Pamplona, la Catedral de Tudela, la Abadía de Leyre, el Monasterio de Iranzu, además de otros edificios restaurados, como las sucursales y edificios de la Kutxa en el Casco Antiguo de San Sebastián.
