APRENDIZAJE

Luis aprendió este oficio de su familia, que se ha dedicado a la madera desde antaño, y de la cual constituye la quinta generación. Comenzó a los 16 años, familiarizándose con la madera al realizar trabajos de apilado y secado, y conociendo gran variedad de especies de maderas nacionales e internacionales. Más tarde llegó a manejar la maquinaria de corte y fabricación de las tarimas y dibujos que utiliza actualmente. Sus mejores maestros, sus oficiales antiguos.

Fabricación de suelos y paredes en madera de roble para Caixa Fórum, Madrid.
Fabricación de tableros en maderas de roble y mansonia, con cenefa (marquetería en suelo), en el Banco de España, Madrid.
Fabricación del suelo en madera de pino mélix viejo con incrustaciones en el Salón Real del Casino de la Calle Alcalá, Madrid.
