APRENDIZAJE

El conocimiento sobre el trabajo de la piedra natural comenzó con la elaboración en este material de varias piezas de manera autodidacta con la ayuda de algún libro que adquirió y toda la información que pudo encontrar sobre el tema.
Posteriormente reforzó esta formación con la realización de algunos cursos:
– Curso “Talla directa en piedra” (50 h). Centro de los Oficios de León (2006)
– Curso “Estereotomía y técnicas de labra en piedra” (50 h). Centro de los Oficios de León (2007)
– Curso de “Cantería heráldica” (25 h). Centro de los Oficios de León (2008)
– Curso de “Arcos de piedra natural” (25 h). Centro de los Oficios de León (2009)
– Participación en el I Simposio de escultura en piedra Campa Torres (25 y 26 de septiembre de 2010) en Gijón (Asturias).
– Curso “Talla directa en piedra” (40 h). Centro de los Oficios de León (2016)
En todo caso, su mayor aprendizaje proviene de los años de trabajo en el taller desde que puso en marcha la empresa TORREGRIS S.L., en mayo de 2008.
TRABAJOS DESTACADOS
– Antiguo Convento de Sant Domènec (Xátiva): En la sala capitular, elaboración de las dovelas en los arcos de 14 m de luz de la bóveda, piezas molduradas para jambas y arcos de ventanales y puerta y piezas de cubrición de los contrafuertes y gárgolas. En el ala sur del claustro, dovelas de arcos y piezas del enjarje de las bóvedas de crucería.
– Casa del Cigroner (Xátiva): Reconstrucción de arco apuntado, escalones macizos del patio y escalera de subida, así como las esquinas exteriores con moldura y vierteaguas.
– Casa del Plataner (Xátiva): arcos patio, columnas, portada, esquina exterior, fuentes, mesas, sillares…
– Restauración de piezas en el Museo de Xátiva: Pila antigua gran tamaño, brocal del pozo en mármol.
– Capiteles del Claustro de la Nau (Universidad de Valencia)
